Q: What shipping options do you offer, and what are the shipping and handling costs?
A: Item prices are inclusive of standard shipping (i.e., shipping is ‘free’), regardless of whether the item is located in Mongolia or in our US warehouse – our standard carrier in Mongolia is Mongol Post, whose international parcel times for the North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand are roughly two-three weeks. US-located items are shipped using standard USPS or FedEx services.
Expedited, two-day domestic delivery and expedited international options are available for US-located items. For Mongolia-located items, EMS and DHL options are available for small- and mid-sized items at additional cost. Expedited shipping options, when available, may be selected during the checkout process. You may also contact us in advance of your order with special shipping requests.
Q: What is your returns policy?
A: All of our items may be returned for a full refund if you are not satisfied with your purchase. Returns must be made within 30 days to our U.S. address.
Q: Why are your yak wool and camel wool items a bit more expensive than some Mongolian “yak wool” and “camel wool” articles on Ebay and Amazon?
A: Yak and camel wool are not widely known in Europe or North America, and unscrupulous sellers take advantage of their customers’ unfamiliarity with these fibers to misrepresent sheep’s wool articles as “yak wool” or “camel wool”. However, real yak wool and camel wool, like cashmere, can be easily distinguished from sheep’s wool by their extraordinarily soft and smooth textures.
If you’ve purchased mislabeled “yak” or “camel” wool items in the past, you will immediately notice the difference when you encounter the real thing. Not only are our yak and camel wool products the genuine article, they are also designed and manufactured for durability and lasting comfort.
